Module Assemblies

Off-site modular assembly is quickly becoming the preferred method of construction in industrial development. Thanks to its cost-effectiveness, ease of transport, and time-saving attributes, it effectively eliminates the development barriers associated with tight schedules, changing siteconditions, and availability of skilled field labour.

Aecon Fabco constructs a wide range of modular assemblies using the newest design techniques. In addition to custom pre-fabricated pipe spools, our modules can incorporate a broad range of components—valves, instrumentation, cable tray and cable equipment, structural supports, and more—which can all be packaged to improve project delivery.

Unlike many other modular facilities Aecon Fabco offers its clients a complete environmentally controlled environment.  We construct all of the modules in our Pictou Modular Facility which eliminates the loss of productivity due to rain, snow, wind, flooding and lightning.  This controlled environment allows us to be efficient in many areas.  It allows us to maintain standard procedures, Quality Assurance and assembly line techniques that add to the overall efficiently of the shop environment. 
 
Large projects such as a stick build being done in a productive operating unit such as refineries can be effected by lengthy permitting processes…this is not the case in our modular facility in Pictou which will in turn save time and allow the project to be delivered on time and on budget.
